Dr. Bharat Pal is a diabetic patient. He developed gradual diminution of vision. After consulting various hospitals, he came to ASG Eye Hospitals,Bhopal. On consultation with Dr Dolly chandra, he underwent investigations(OCT and FFA) for diabetic retinopathy and was found to have "macular oedema".
He was advised to get "Anti Vegf" injections in both the eyes along with regular follow ups. After getting right eye "Anti Vegf", Mr. Bharat pal has shown significant improvement in his visual acuity. Next, treatment for left eye is planned.
All diabetics should undergo eye check up, retina in particular. Timely diagnosis and treatment can prevent vision loss due to Diabetic Retinopathy.
