I had mine done over 25 years ago. I had no discomfort at all. I’m still 20/20 and I’m almost 60. It was the best thing I ever did.
About what at age did u need reading glasses?
@Skiz TV lost sight as in complete eyesight? Or it went back to your previous eye prescription??
My Favorite Part of the Whole Surgery is Watching the Laser in Action.. Believe Me, It’s Beautiful
Had mine done 5 years ago I lost sight in my left eye
I am 22 and worried about the halo starburst etc. will this happen to me?
I need this done! I’m so blind! I hate when people ask me… “ are you really that blind” ??
lmao like uhm yeah sorry? ?
@John Doe I had a question when can u do the surgery and what if u are not eligible that means you can’t do it
This is me whenever people want to try my glasses . I don’t let people try my glasses anymore just because I’m insecure about my eyes In the first place.
@John Doe first few days are sensitive. I’ve had several friends who had lasik. Nothing but positive.
@thoeun leap Cool, thank you very much for responding and all the info! Are the sunglasses necessary for the light sensitivity? How long does that usually last?
I think Ill go through with it now, you just hear all those horror stories online im a little nervous since vision is one of our most important sense and glasses fix most of my problems. I appreciate you taking your time to respond!
@John Doe once in a while, but it’s not bad. Wear sunglasses.
Im distracted by how beautiful your makeup looks in this video lol ??
omg thanks gurrrrl
Lol same
Wow. This video made me realize how for granted I have taken my 20/20 vision. I’m really glad that I have the opportunity to wake up and not deal with contacts or glasses or anything.
@LVSwift do you have any side effect during night ?
And any problem around ur eyes ..
I’m grateful my dad got me this surgery at 21, it has been two years now and I am so happy I don’t need glasses anymore.
Yes, you are very blessed! I used to have 20/20 vision until I made the mistake of trying on somebody else’s glasses when I was in grade school????
Nesss Mina I don’t wear my glasses when I shower. I take em off especially when I go to bed
I had mine done 15 years, ago. I still have 20/20. I paid, $5,000.
@Sonya Mohan were at
Mine is 2600
@Jasmine Crosby During but just for a short while
Do you go blind after the procedure or during?
I had mine done 20 years ago and I have 20/20 also. Reading is also great and it has been great not having to rely on contacts or glasses. I never did have dry eyes!
I got LASIK about 4-5 yrs ago & it’s the BEST DECISION I’ve made! It was so fast, so easy, so painless. My eyes were dry in the beginning after the procedure but that went away & I truly recommend it to everyone who can do it!
How is your eyes now
Valerie Lozada during the surgery, are you able to see the needles and everything?
Kim Jung-eun Trust me! It’s a must do .. especially if you have bad vision! Atleast get your consultation done and check to see if you’re a candidate for lasik. You won’t regret it
Valerie Lozada thank you so much! i think i want to get the surgery done, but im afraid it wont turn up as i wanted it to. im getting tired of glasses
Kim Jung-eun no discomfort! Thankfully My eyes are perfect ?
I really hope I’m a candidate for it. I am ready to get mine done. My eyes are horrible. I’m a -7.50 in one eye and -8.00 in the other with an astigmatism in one eye ??
I already know if I do get it I’m looking at $5000 most likely if I even qualify for it. I’m just waiting for this whole virus pandemic to be over so I can go
@Sonisha Rodriguez Hey do u have an update ?
@Eva C. Yes I did!
@Ania did you do the surgery?
@Mariaa6264 Hey, I just wanted to know how your ICL surgery went. My bf is getting Lasik this upcoming Thursday and I’m going to schedule a consultation for ICL soon (I don’t think I’llbe a candidate for the regular Lasik procedure.) I hope everything went well for you
@Danielle S hi! It went well, the recovery was pretty quick and you can see clearly almost immediately. No dry eyes, but i still get halos but i am used to them already haha. I think the surgery itself took about 20-30 minutes, so longer than lasik, but i didnt feel anything or even see much bc of all the eye drops they give haha. Good luck!!
watching this made my eyes teary and burn. It’s like I was feeling everything you were describing ?
I am so glad the procedure went well for you. Thank you for sharing your experience and not sugar coating it. Don’t throw your contacts out, donate them to your eye Dr. for someone who can’t afford them. Even donate your old eyeglasses.
I’ve had LASIK and my eyes were fine once I woke up from my nap no issues with burning or dryness. So everyone is different.
Raven Nicole how is it going?
I got mines done back in 2013, best decision ever!
I’m getting LASIK in May and the tip to bring sunglasses and buy a sleeping mask are genius! I’m so glad I saw those tips now so I can prepare because I never even thought of that!
just got my LASIK done and i found myself referring to your video often. just wanted to thank you for describing the process and sharing your experience ?
Thank you, Jas for giving us an update on your eye surgery. I think it was really cool to learn about all of it. I am so happy to hear that your vision is 20/20. I couldn’t imagine how you felt before getting it done. It is always great to save money in other areas in life so when something like this comes up you can spend what you need to.
This video is really encouraging me to look into getting this done, I’ve been wearing glasses since the age of 5 , i turn 32 this year ? im blind as a bat. Thank you Jas for the very helpful information ??
Thanks for sharing your experience and keeping it real! I’ve been thinking about lasik for a while now, maybe I’ll get a consultation someday!
It’s the best decision. I got it done for 3k . It was worth every thing .
Thank you for this video. I am considering getting lasik done hopefully in the future and this was really helpful.
“I have fresh eyeballs” how cute is she ?
I had the procedure done today at LasikPlus and your description is perfect! Thank you for making this video, you’re awesome!
