@N A Tandra Alhumdulillah! I’m 20 years old and suffering from myopia (farsightedness) that my distant vision is blurry. I’m just getting people’s experiences that if it is risk-free and also here in Pakistan it’s a big challenge to find a trust worthy good Eye hospital/surgeon. I hope soon I’ll done my LASIK safely.

@Fafa Fan i haven’t done it before but there’s usually no pain i haven’t gotten it because i have really bad astigmatism so there’s a chance i will need prescription again after the operation

Lasik is a quick fix but not a solution., because the eyes will get worse again. Only solution is shorten the eyeball. And you can do it with reduced lens method. Do not do again the mistake to choose a quick fix, it will screw your eyes even more in the long run. Just reverse your first mistake, which was starting wearing glasses, with reduced lens method.

@rachwes0 my mom has got lasik eye surgery YEARS ago and she said it doesn’t hurt. They give you numbing drops to cut of the nerves so yo don’t feel pain. Also you are awake the whole time; you have to in order for them to work on the eyes. They put some tool on your eyes to prevent you from closing/ blinking

I intend to get lasik too but I know the fact that my eyes will be forced open and I can’t blink makes me cringe.. if only I can have it done while unconscious lol. I hate the idea of sitting still and going through with it.

Love how detailed you were about this! Im considering lasik, because i have a higher myopia in one eye compared to another, and thats kinda troublesome with contacts! Thanks for sharing your experience 🙂 xx

During the procedure . When the doctor put the …idk the word… To keep the eye open. I know they hydrate the eye… But did it bother you. Was keeping the eye open for a few mins bothersome

I’m the type of person who watches these videos after I’ve gotten the procedure done ? I got my lasik 2 days ago & saw 20/20 vision the night of. Mind you, my vision was -6 before, negative!! I got glasses in the 4th grade, have been a contact wearer since high school. Contacts bothered my eyes a ton and I knew I wanted this done since high school. I am so so so glad I followed through. There’s nothing to be scared of, the procedure takes 45 seconds per eye & you don’t feel a thing!!

The best “review” of Lasik so far! 🙂 Can you do a follow up this fall? I am interested in doing this procedure, but I want to know if you have any side effects this long after the procedure.
